The ESA Program offers specialized funding for students with disabilities, including students with an IEP or MET. Funding may be up to $43,000+ per year based on severity and can remain available through age 22! Ballroom dance lessons and dance classes at Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Oro Valley may qualify under this program. How do I get started?

At Fred Astaire Dance Studios, new dance students can take advantage of our money-saving Introductory Offer! Just complete and submit the Intro Offer form on this website, and we’ll contact you promptly to learn about your goals, answer your questions, and schedule your first lesson. Once you experience how fun ballroom dancing in Oro Valley can be, we believe you’ll be excited to return for more!

How often should I take lessons?

We strongly recommend scheduling your dance lessons close together, especially when you are first starting. Less time between lessons means you’ll forget less, spend less time reviewing, and build confidence in your dancing much faster. We also recommend pairing private ballroom dance lessons with group classes and practice sessions, because that combination is one of the most effective, efficient ways to learn, stay motivated, and feel comfortable on the dance floor.

Is it difficult to learn to dance?

No, not at all! Our dance instructors are highly qualified, friendly professionals who continue dance training throughout their careers. Plus, our step-by-step teaching method and unique trophy system make learning feel simple and rewarding. It takes some time to master different dances and build a strong collection of steps, but consistent practice will create visible progress sooner than you may expect. We encourage you to keep your lessons scheduled close together. You’ll improve faster, enjoy more value from every session, and feel more confident. We promise: learning is fun – and you can be on your way to comfortable social dancing after your very first ballroom dance lesson!
